I concur with everyone else's thoughts. I would only add that as you look for a smaller trailer, don't get too hung up on a separate room. Kids can sleep through anything. We tented from the time my daughter was less than a year old until we got a pop-up when she was 9. She slept through all the campground noise and still loves tenting to this day (she's 30 now). I'm not saying to get a tent, I'm saying your kids will be fine no matter what trailer you chose.

And you really do owe it to yourself to check out US made SUVs. I think you'd be surprised.
