Probably not as high a priority in BC as in FL... :) - 69_AvionExplorerI would have started with a Unimog and then built an Avion style camper for the back.
- Dog_FolksExplorerJMHO It is too ugly for that kind of money.

Yep, just needs a 40mm on top and some machine gun ports and maybe a blade on front. - nycsteveExplorerA few mods and it would be a perfect Zombie Apocolypse transport vehicle.
- silversandExplorerSteve is right on. Wasserwerfer means: water cannon. This was probably an airport fire truck chassis originally.
The living unit (the box dropped on the frame) is professionally manufactured by someone who has done this before, and was probably made by German companies Exploryx or Unicat or Moser, or the french company Action Mobile...my bet is on a Unicat box. - loulou57ExplorerDid I miss where it had the blk tank capacity?
Also, it says air conditioning in the cab, nothing about it in the cabin.
I do like the windows in the bathrooms
It certainly looks like a fire truck conversion - sabconsultingExplorerThat's quite a beast. Impressive yacht-quality interior fittings.
The extended cab looks like one fitted to fire trucks in Europe, and with that long wheel base and 6x6 configuration I wonder if this is a converted airport fire truck.
If it were me I would probably want a shorter wheel-base for offroad use in the third world, but then I'd probably also want something a lot less pricey that I could afford to abandon if necessary. The good thing is Mercedes trucks are sold everywhere, so parts shouldn't be a problem.
Steve.
