Yep, you are one of those names I have noticed not being around for a while. Glad to see you are posting and planning for what sounds like it is going to be a great trip.
Yes, you and most of us have been to Wyoming a bunch of times, but in case you haven’t seen it recently from a different perspective, you might check out one of my trip reports; Yellowstone & Wyoming
When I saw you were traveling through Kansas and interested in avoiding the interstates and find that Kansas is not as flat as many think, my earlier trip report might be of interest; Kansas ~ Its not what you might be expecting - Parts 1 & 2
There have been lots of really interesting suggestions in Oklahoma, but one that hasn’t been mentioned that is really outstanding; Wool a Roc, outside of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
I am in your Oregon now, out east and it is hot and Smokey and still beautiful.
