Wow, this has been a busy year! I don't have much time in a day to do any of the planning, so the wife and my dad are going to tackle most of it.
I have a huge list of thing that need done mechanically between now and June, and my days off will be focused on getting these done.
Friday I swapped out the Dometic 13.5K AC unit for a smaller Coleman Polar Cub 9200 unit. With that done, I was now able to off load the camper in the driveway and start tackling the truck. My son and I completely gutted the interior of all garbage, pencils, phone chargers, maps, taco sauce, pennies, dog hair, etc....
Vacuumed it out and then scrubbed the plastic floor with Simple Green and wiped it all out. Looks like a new truck again.
Now with limited space between my camper and cargo trailer, I can only do one side at a time by parking really close to one side. So, I started with the passenger side. Replaced the rear drum and shoes and spring pack. Will get to the drivers side this Thursday.
Front rotors, and pads should be here by next week so I can work on those soon. Then pulling the bed (or lift it on one side) to replace the front fuel sender unit, and modify my filler necks so I can fast fill at truck stops.
Then install a towing package wiring harness in my parents new car (2013 Honda Pilot), then installed a small AC unit, new faucet, and 12v water pump in their Aliner trailer.
By the time I get all this done, I will need a vacation before my Sabbatical.
