Howz everyone doing these days? Been a while since I posted last. I got busy with other hobbies and fabricated toys. We're gearing up for a long road trip next summer out east (hot hum...

Here is the updated route of the states we plan to pass through or visit, and mostly in this order.
Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky,
Tennessee, down to Alabama coast, over to Mississippi.
From here we may head through lower Louisiana to Houston Texas depending on my cousins schedule. She works in the big cat section of the Houston Zoo and can get us in free and visit back stage to feed the lions and tigers. If this works out, then we'll shoot north from Houston towards Dallas Fortworth area on up to Lawton Oklahoma where one of my sisters lives. Stay there for a week to catch up on any laundry, vehicle attention, and relax a bit.
If we don't do the Houston Zoo, then we will skip the bulk of Texas and shoot up through Mississippi cross through Shreveport Louisiana and pass by Dallas Fortworth up to Lawton Oklahoma.
From Oklahoma, we'll go north through Kansas again to Ogallala Nebraska for some kayak fishing for Walleye. Hope to camp right on the waterline at the lake for a few days.
If we are beat by this time, we'll head back to Sidney Nebraska to visit Cabelas and then head through Wyoming, Utah, Idaho, and back home in Oregon.
If we are still motivated and not at each others boiling points, we may head north from Ogallala to South Dakota to see Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse again. My folks have never seen these. Not sure of our route from here to home.
