Looks like my cousin works at the Houston Zoo in the big cats area. She can get us in the back to feed the tigers, lions and other big cats.
Soooo, with that we may be shooting across LA to TX and visit her zoo. From there, would head north probably hitting San Antonio for the Alamo and Austin for the bats.
What is the allure of Fredicksburg TX?
Since it is pretty close between San Antonio and Austin we can swing through there.
Fredericsberg, TX is a "German" town in the middle of Texas... close the Lyndon Johnson's ranch. Janet and I passed through... it was one of those places where the tourists are thick, shopping and lined up for pan cakes... we moved on. I wrote about Lyndon Johnsons home place at the time.... but completely ignored the tourist trap. Just out opinion.
