Howz everyone doing these days? Been a while since I posted last. I got busy with other hobbies and fabricated toys. We're gearing up for a long road trip next summer out east (hot hum...

Thanks for the tip Sleepy. Not so much into the "touristy" stuff, rather see the small towns and backwoods sites along the way.
I figure I am already in TX by the time I have driven all the way west to Houston, and not interested in a back track. Nor do I want to go so far as see New Mexico or Aridzona. Been there, got the T-Shirt. ;)
So, north from Houston is our predicted option as we do have a week long stop planned for Lawton OK where one of my sisters lives. Figure we would catch up any tire rotations, laundry, bills, chillaxing etc...
Then decide if we are pooped and should just head home towards Oregon, or continue on and venture up towards Ogallala NE and do some camping in the sand right on Lake McConaughy and do some kayak Walleye fishing.
