I think that you need to define sway. Pushing and pull from air disturbance is not sway. This controller will not make poor performing trailer better. It needs to be thought of as a safety device that will automatically stop sway faster than human reactions. When the module reacts the brake is full on for one wheel until the sway direction is eliminated.

"Pushing and pulling from air disturbance" may not be sway as you define it, but it can be tiring over when driving over long distances.
I get the impression that this device will definitely help under catastrophic sway. But I don't think it will do anything to counter smaller disturbances. Nor would I want it to apply the trailer brakes with every little nudge from wind gusts or passing semi's.
Anyway, the usual friction based sway controllers work fine for the routine small stuff.
