Wow, thanks for the great research and information. The pictures were very helpful, too. We have an AF990 on an '03 F250 6.0L and have been considering doing the same thing. I have only begun looking into it, and your posting will save me tons of time and frustration. Any idea on the life cycle of these lights? I will probably just get plenty of spares just in case.
