I've been doing it for years so I'm not sure why pulling a hose into the bathroom to use a tank wand for flushing out the black water tank AND cleaning the toilet throat is so difficult. :h As mentioned in this recent thread I installed a tank flusher in our hybrid - first one was broken from the get go, second one worked but sure wasn't as effective at cleaning the tank as was a toilet wand. Our next travel trailer had a factory tank flusher and I did use it but I always finished the job with toilet wand. Our current trailer doesn't have a factory tank flusher and with an open underbelly I could easily add one but I wouldn't waste the time or $$ when a toilet wand is so much more effective AND is the only method of cleaning the toilet throat itself. JMO. ;)
