my question is when installing do u just connect a red wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the black wire to the neg terminal and thats it? any other recommendations or thoughts? I see them on ebay for about 95.00 for one like this.
electric jack

When I first started my search for a tongue jack, I was amazed at the cost difference being anywhere from $100 -$400 or so. Yes, I wanted something that would work, but?
After doing extensive searches, I found one with outstanding customer reviews & within a price range that was acceptable.
First of all, do yourself a favor & if your purchasing online, pay attention to the customer reviews, I did, & it paid off. :W
THIS ONE was my final choice & is currently selling on Amazon for $120 delivered to your door, if you have "prime". Installation was a breeze, connect positive directly to the battery, utilizing the inline circuit breaker & that's it. The negative or ground is the Jack itself as bolted to the frame. There are two switches, one operates the light & the other toggle operates up / down function. Get it in Black or White, includes, emergency crank, & head cover.
PS: I ordered it on a Monday at noon, it was on my doorstep the next day at noon.:B
