Instantaneous G Force

I've seen a number of topics lately asking about how things are constructed, and it made me wonder...

In a trailer, it relies on it's springs to stop sudden jerks and dips, and in a fifth wheel, much the same, but in a camper, everything flies about with the truck box exactly. Is the difference just the G Force?

Are truck campers subject to more extreme bounces and jerks that they, and the contents within them, have to be so much better and solidly constructed to withstand those movements?

Your opinions please....
  • no more tossing about than you get driving the truck (same suspension is acting on both).
