Other than Lance, Northwood, and Outdoors, I am searching for mfgs. of small trailers (<25 ft) that offer insulated/thermopane windows as an option. I live in SE Texas and have found none on dealers' lots. I would like to compare other brands (that might be available closer to me) before traveling to see trailers by the first 3 listed. Appreciate your help. Thanks.

I don't believe that any RVs use "thermopane" windows. the best you can hope for is a dual pain window that doesn't fog over in a few years.bumpy

I believe Northwood uses Hehr "Thermal Pane" windows. I have them and have no complaints so far. Outdoors Manufacturing is a sister company so I would only guess they use the same brand? Hehr makes some windows they call Thermal Pane and some they call Double Pane. I know there is a difference. Regardless I like how quite ours are. Too bad Northwood doesn't have more dealers in Texas. We are in Illinois and we don't have dealer here either. We ended up ordering a travel trailer and driving to Oregon to pick it up in the same town as the factory to save a ton on freight charges. It paid for our vacation to the Oregon Coast. When or if we decide to get another trailer or 5th wheel we will most likely do the same again.Good luck with your search!

Now each window company has their own term for that. Insulated glass, is the more general term used now. Thermopane is a trademarked name, dual pane is the same thing. Look at 4 season trailers, what works in the cold will work in the Texas heat. WDP

I wish they would go back to the old storm windows of the past for RVs. None of the problems of the new generation windows, atleast in the ones I had were problem free.

Is is feasible to buy the trailer you want, and have the windows replaced?Matt B

Escape Trailer in Chilliwack, BC offers a thermal window package as well as spray foam underneath with tank heaters and additional insulation. Similar to the old BigFoot trailers, they are made for winter camping. Come in 17/19/21 foot sizes, and 5th wheel models 100% fiberglass. http://escapetrailer.com

Jayco Eagle, Winnebago One and Evergreen Lite also offer Thermal Pane or Dual pane windows as an option.

Maybe if the manufacturer offers insulated or dual pane windows as an option on that model, so the single panes it comes with will be the same sizes. Otherwise, tricky, because there are many more window styles and sizes in single pane, and to retrofit you might be reframing openings.
