To what Don said, if the flag was dragging the ground while getting the truck up to speed, that is definitely not proper flag etiquette.
Even then, its obvious that there was no intent to be disrespectful. Quite the contrary, GM was proudly displaying the flag in a PR stunt made to make the flag even more visible.
I'm not going to get up in arms about it, especially because GM took every precaution to ensure it didn't hit the ground.
There are battles worth fighting... not sure that this is the one to fight.
