Exactly... not sure how applicable this is to RVer's (still RV.net, right?). This isn't a measure of frame "strength", its a measure of frame rigidity. Being more rigid doesn't make it stronger... it just makes it more rigid.
Interestingly enough, most heavy duty trucks (not pickups... TRUCKS) have a certain amount of flex in them. They were never designed to go offroading, they were meant to haul loads down the road. The metal has a certain amount of flex to it to prevent it from snapping in half.
Not knocking the Ram at all, in fact I think it is the 1 ton truck to beat right now. I'm just trying to provide some facts that this test doesn't necessarily prove what some people here want it to prove.
