All this talk... how many of them were found flipped over on the side of the road? I'm sure it would have made the news. Any follow ups?
I've seen Tundras that pulled 10 or 11K lbs fivers from the Midwest to Florida every winter. Been to the same park 3 years apart, the Tundras AND the fivers were there, safe and sound with no problems. Its about a 2000 mile round trip every year. No flipped trucks, no "wagging tails", no blown transmissions or rear axles.
Anyone care to explain that? Everything I read on rv.net is that you need a minimum 1 ton (or an overloaded 3/4 ton) to tow anything and that half tons are for groceries and the Tundra is only for anti-American's who support the Japanese invasions on the 1940's who need to get groceries.
