Reason I never worked in inventory controlI ordered 3 new fuel and oil filters (Baldwin brand) for my 2005 Dodge diesel truck, it may be a Ram truck, not really sure. As I plan on having the truck oil changed soon.They came in, when I placed them on my storage shelf, guess what, I had a box on my shelf that had three new Baldwin oil filters and fuel filters. Question: who would have ordered them?????So now I have enough filters to take me into 2018+, wonder if the truck and I will live that long? One positive of getting old, you always have enough fuel and oil filters on hand!!!!!!!!

I did the same thing with my riding mower. Pulley bearing was going bad so bought two to have on hand. When they finally went bad odered two more and had them over nighted to me. Doubt the mower will outlast the extra set I found in the garage in a box. This memory thing is a bummer. :S

I have that problem with ketchup but unfortunately not with toilet paper

I have at least "TWO" of everything only because I can't remember where I put the first one. :SSometimes, I end up with "THREE" :B

I wondered around the house yesterday looking for a pair of socks I know I took out of the drawer. After 10 min of looking the wife asks "what are you looking for"? I answer "I'm looking for my socks that I know I took out of my sock drawer and I can't find them" She says "look at your feet, you already put them on". You've named this posting right.. "inventory control".I wonder if you shouldn't store your filters in a dry and warm place until you use them?
