Yes I have, and many on here are still backwards.. The new technology makes 12 volt appliances very good these days. Many are just set in their ways of it must be 120 volt or nothing at a serious price to pay. The cost of the system and the extra batteries required. When you use an inverter the inverter itself without no load is a 10 -15 % loss in battery power.Just to power the inverter. 12 v to 12v is most efficient way..when you convert 12 to 120 volt you lose power. Generally hooking up to shore power is necessary to run high load appliances ie Air cond or Microwave. Everything else is pretty much made in 12 volts or an adapter will suit when necessary. Of course there are some on here that have to justify their actions so they make snide remarks. Talking options and pros and cons but many geniuses here are smart asses and need some lessons taught.They have big mouths behind a computer screen..
