BTW I have never read a post where someone declares anyone should randomly add an inverter. And all threads where someone wants to run a microwave or coffee maker with battery power are sprinkled with posts on cooking and coffee should be made with propane and how to do it. So really no one is pushing an inverter on anyone... especially a large inverter.
And still if someone wants an inverter... they are certainly free to install what they like. That is what makes life fun for most of us.
