Why not use 12 volts for your camper. 12v items are more and more available today . Microwaves, a/c , will require a generator /or shore power anyway. TV 's are 12 volt, lighting and most everything e...

Seriously. A TT for me is a advanced form of shelter in case of bad weather. My trips are not just to camp... The camping supports my outdoor activities. primarily Hunting and dog trialing. These are events with set dates. They do not change if the weather is bad.
So it is nice to have shelter to get out of the weather to recoup when necessary... And if I am am gonna have shelter... It may as well have a lot of nice features built in.
Not necessary.. But my stick bricks house has a lot of nice features as well... I will not go back to the caveman days.
