I down sized from a 35ft fifth wheel to a 30ft/tongue to bumper trailer. In my opinion 30ft is max to get into the areas I go. So far, I've got it everywhere I wanted to camp.
I had some issues with the big fifth wheel getting it into the places I wanted to be and getting it out.
