Eleven years is a tremendous lifespan. Good job maintaining them.

They have been great batteries.

Probably will replace them with Grp 31 Duracell AGMs from Sams Club before our upcoming trip to Alaska.

After 11 years of good service, why would you go to a lesser quality battery?

I got 7 years out of my Lifeline batteries, but the capacity dropped. I suppose I could have tried equalizing but I need to rely on the batteries and just went ahead and replaced them with the same model Lifeline. I talked with technical services at Lifeline and they told me service life is typically in the range of 6-8 years. I probably aged mine a bit prematurely. I had a cheapo solar charger with only 1 stage set at 13.6 volts regardless of temperature. I was told that is just plain too high for a continuous float voltage.

Haw, what maintenance....
My GP 27 Lifelines are almost 8 years old. I have not looked at them in years... I do test them periodically to check capacity. Still good. They have been hooked to my Progressive Dynamics 9260 since new. Oh and when out camping solar does the job!

I'm very impressed with Lifeline batteries as well. My first one lasted 12 years, and I only removed it because I was moving up from one battery to two batteries and wanted them to match. I still have the original battery in my garage, I use it to test trailer lights, etc. I think it would still be fine in a camper as well.
