Did you look at your door sticker and get YOUR trucks payload and axle ratings???
Have you weighed truck 'camp ready'.....??? (Real world weight numbers!)
STOP using DRY trailer numbers......only time you will tow dry is when you pick it up at dealer
LOOK at trailers GVWR
figure 20% for 5th wheel pin weight
figure 12% for trailer tongue weight
Or take trailers dry weight and add 1800# for ALL cargo and then use 20%/12% to
get a 'guesstimate' of pin/tongue weights
Truck weighed numbers ----trucks rating numbers........trailer wet numbers
Add/subtract....do they fit your truck???
If not...how much over??
Real numbers..better decisions vs internet maybe's .
