Is a propane fire ring a waste of money???

I have owned a little red LPG campfire since 2005. It is getting pretty beat up and the logs are look poor, but it continues to do the job and has sold hunderds more just from us using it and others seeing it.

Seems like a silly thread. If a propane fire ring is important to you and you are willing to sacrifice precious space, then buy one. Someone gave me one. I thanked them and then threw it in the garbage.

We have had one for years, but our son and DIL borrowed it 3 years ago and seem to be always using it. So, this year we bought our own and have used it extensively, especially since our province was on fire most of the summer. Ye, it is nice going back in the camper not smelling like a fire!

we have the little red fire pit, and use it all the time. East of the mountains there are often burn bans where I can still use the propane pit.

Does anyone have any idea which is the best brand??
a carrying bag would be nice and maybe a 15' or 20' hose.
