My Coach man Catalina has been stationary this past year and plan on using it at my maintenance shop.my problem is my waste tank was full and had not been emptied for a while so i called my local septic guy to come pump tank.he did the last time no problem but this time he didn't take very long and said it was empty. Well i checked it after he left and most of the waste is still there.so i think it set too long and or didn't break down.i went today and bought two bottles of bio waste stuff.is there anything i can do to help that so i can call him back out to empty again? Thank you for any help.

Set so long liquids dried up/evaporated..........so solids (poop Pyramid) dried out.Digester and fill tank fullMight want to use a flush wand on end of hose down thru toilet and blast away at dried stuff before filling and letting digester go to work.

The addition of a water softener into the tank will break the surface tension more readily than pure water. I use the cheapest laundry softener I can find. Others use Calgon or similar.

I poured the bio stuff in there today i have one of those wands that spins when its hooked to hose. Tomorrow ill run that till its full and maybe add some laundry softener per the other suggestion too.i just hope i breaks it up i put 64 ounces of that stuff in.

One method that will will work for sure is Liquid Drano. Our owners manual says to use it if needed and have a couple of times. You'll need to tow it around for a bit to make it all slosh around enough. Depending on how bad it is, maybe a 2nd go at it might be needed. Instead of getting someone to pump it out, is there no dump station nearby? You can find them on sanidumps.com.Used to have a Catalina TT and the black tank was easy to dump and flush and never had trouble with it. Some blank tanks are not so easy due to shape and outlet pipe location.

When I did it I put the digester in and filled it with water. Let it sit 24 hour. Then go drain and flush a lot of water through it. Worked for me, effectively doubled my black tank capacity and got rid of an awful odor.

No unfortunately i cant move it right now.the other bad thing is im in the process of replacing the hot water heater so im relying on the outside hose hookup for water pressure.which the pressure is great.i took a look this morning and the water in the toilet has already turned dark where as when i filled tank it was pretty clear.thats why i posted earlier about prodding around in there thru toilet although access is limited but i didn't know how fragile those tanks are.but i did put 64 ounces t s t brand in there then filled i just am not familiar with how penetrating that stuff works.

You don't have any buddies that could hookup to the trailer? That would be your best bet, driving with the tank3/4 full and multiple flushes. Just saying! It could take a half a dozen times to get it cleaned out. I bought a trailer years ago that had this same thing and it took a while to get it cleaned out and driving was the best thing I found to work.

I sure hope so this may be more than one or even two go a rounds of digestion stuff soaking pumping etc.

I don't think I'd use anything but the wand while it is getting pumped out. Definitely not a paint mixer on a drill. You could damage or knock loose sensors or slip and crack the tank in an extreme case of bad luck. Time is really all you need.

I added 64 ounces of t s t bio digest from the looks of it it had dried. Then i filled with swirl wand any thoughts on prodding with a stick or using a drill with a paint mixer? I know that would be terribly nasty im sure i would have to be care and with a trash bag close by lol.

2gallons of vinegar will soften it up.Add it and wait 2 days than fill with water,double dump

The wand is about 18 inches long and has small holes around the end so its higher pressure the level now is at the bottom of the toilet.

Bio digester, now let it set at least a week! Then do a tow around then drain and flush.

If you are going to move it , fill it near up and drive it around town , give it a tour and the sloshing around will break it up ! Then empty !
