I imagine the tire cap will be plenty high enough. I'd see what the axle rating is and go up to that or the tire rating whichever is less. Might take air bags. BTW I sold a 9600 lb 5er to a guy with a 1/2T Ram mega cab 2012 with a very low payload and he says it does fine. I'd say Dodge kinda under rated them Craig
