Our AF is 8.5 feet wide, and I consider that a real plus. Since the model we have does not have a slide-out, the extra 6 inches in width actually makes it seem considerably more spacious. (Can't explain it; it just does.) The only negative with the extra width is probably a slight reduction in mileage due to the larger frontal area. Northwood discontinued the 22H floor plan in the AF line, so we'll be hanging on to ours as long as possible. It's just right for us and the quality is outstanding.
