I am with the guys saying "why risk it for 1 minute of rolling up time?"
A) Because it will not come out because too much weight and not enough suction or wind force can be generated to lift it high enough to clear the wheel wells.
B) Because it weighs at least 80 pounds and is a pain in the rear end to try and move. Even with two people it is a chore to move.
C) Because it helps protect the bed when I'm using it without the camper. It is a truck after all and carries firewood, blocks, lumber, etc.
D) Because it takes more than a minute to roll it up, put a strap on it, and then put it some place. Then you have the time it takes to put back in the truck.
E) Because it takes up a lot of room when out of the truck and I already have enough junk in the garage as it is. Back seat isn't an option as that is used by people.
F) I've never had mine shift much less flutter at speeds up to 75mph.
That is more than enough reasons for me to just leave it in there. Plus, I've never heard of a mat blowing out. Plastic bedliner I have, but my plastic bedliner is less than half the weight of my bed mat.
