Let's clarify are you planning on traveling the US in the trailer or plan on being stationary for extended period of time while living in the trailer? If you plan on being stationary you can hire someone to tow that trailer where you want them to and keep your escape.
Yes, you will need a larger transmission cooler than the standard one. When we bought our F 150 we added a larger transmission cooler than the standard one as the truck did not come with the tow package.
