I have a friend who has an Explorer and was towing a '70's model travel trailer with it (those were a lot heavier than the new ones) and had no problem. Now he upgraded to a newer one (same size but just lighter) and thinks my Escape could tow it too. It seems to depend on who I ask, which doesn't help with my confusion! haha!
Tow it if you want, it sounds like you really don't want us to tell you not too, I realy don't care one way or the other. I wouldn't tow it very far if it were me and my "truck", and I have towed a lot of stuff over the years. That is my opinion take it for what it is worth.
