We own an Escape, and we pull an aluminum open wheel trailer with it sometimes. That is the trailers the Ford site is talking about, not TT's. We load it on our aluminum trailer and tow it behind our MH. Your Escape won't handle a fully loaded TT well. I think the others are correct in saying a pop-up is it's limit. You might think about trading it in on an F150 which could pull what you are talking about. If you can manipulate the Escape, you can manipulate an F150. Sorry, but I would never tow anything like a TT with an Escape. I would bet if you went to an RV dealer, they would not recommend it either.
