Dont decide anything yet. You are not done with your homework. As I said earlier you need to experience what it would be like towing around a TT that has your vehicle maxed out. If you dont approach this correctly you will be sorry. As a test you need to simulate your final weight. You need to tow about a 3500 lb TT. Go to a dealer or private party. Play them, don't let them play you. Tell you want to tow 3500 lb on your escape or your not shopping with them. When you are done take their literature, act all geeked and walk out the door. If they dont like it, tough. If you buy a 2500 lb TT its going to weigh more then 2500 lb. Add all your stuff and it may be over 3500. Thats the ultimate test. Feel what it is like. Dont drive it around the block. Take it on the highway or express way. In fact take it to a cat scale. Dont worry. Just walk in there like you own the place.
