Went back and found where you posted the linked , I must have over looked it , it's not highlighted or clickable in your post ,,,,, But anyway , well , I would say if you go to a dealer and get ya Escape set up the right way , go for it .
You don't have to load the TT to the max and you don't have to boondock camp either , AKA: You will have empty holdin' tanks etc. etc. when you do tow it . The TT I posted is a single axle and under 2500 dry wt. with a 260 lb. tongue wt.
BTW: ANY of our tranny's could go out and most on here are to the wall IF not over with what they tow with and if you are a tad over once in awhile , Your TV is not going to explode , trust me .
