This thread just keeps getting better and better!!
I hope whomever has a gun to your head forcing you to read this thread gets distracted so you can escape
PUN Intended , I'm sure ! Oh Man ! I had to turn my head to keep from spittin' tea all over my key board when I read that . LOL !
OK .. To the OP aka: G_Goddess , I been postin' all the best case and beyond scenario's for you because of the sitiuation your in even though I'm on the verge of makin' a lot of these members think that I don't have a clue about how and what to tow and tow with .
But at this point I got to say >> your a complicated women , got to give ya that .;)
Get ya used F-150 Reg. Cab 4x2 OR a used 1500 in the other 2 flavers with a small V-8 , then you can go with a little bigger TT that you can haul your books and all your clothes and some groceries in and be and be more comfortable while full timin'.
The 2 wheel drive 1/2 Tons ain't real high off the ground or all that big , you can sit on a pillow if need be ! LOL!
Sell your Escape out right to a private party , a car salesman will eat your lunch on a trade-in across the board ..... I know , you might have to eat a few grand BUT the longer you wait the more ya gonna have to eat !
You don't have a lot of choices with your Escape to be as picky and wanty as you are .
There's some things ya JUST CAN'T do or tow with a cute little lime green TV
Get a 1/2 ton and save ya money and get it painted lime green or purple .
I'm gettin' like Forrest Gump at this point "" That's all I got to say about that "" :)
Good Luck Miss G ..............
