Insulated ducting?! :h Hardly ... if the furnace ducting is underfloor the trailer will no doubt have an enclosed underbelly and perhaps some amount of fiberglass batting ... or none. :E If the ducting is above floor and running through various cabinets throughout the trailer then it won't be insulated at all. In some cases that ducting will be low flow 4", in other cases just 2" with restricted flow. Hey, welcome to the world of RV ducted furnaces and the most common complaint about them - poor heat distribution. :M I've owned both and personally would take direct blow over a ducted system any day - even if it is somewhat noisier at least we can feel the heat! :B
