My first thought is weigh your trailer so you can accurately determine what your tongue weight should be.
Once you have the correct TW you can set your hitch up properly.
Your trailer is not too long.
Your rig can deliver a relaxing tow. You have plenty of truck,but your trailer / WDH is not balanced.
One of the cons of TT's is that the WDH needs to be set up properly and the weights dialed in. A fiver has other cons but in general they tow well right out of the box.
