I've looked into the Hemis. My personal choice would be Hemi for just a truck camper with no towing or towing less then about 8K on a regular basis. Or 10K on a limited basis. Since Toy Haulers are usually heavier I'd go Cummins. My personal choice for double the torque ratings :)
Since I haul and tow at 22K combined weight I'm sticking with the Cummins.
My Monday-Friday work commute is 5 miles each way, I've done this with the 2005 Cummins and now the 2011 Cummins for 160K miles on the trucks and no issues. Most weekends I do drive more distance. I've never worried about in town miles.
