Spud, I read your post before you changed it and I'm not on a soap box trying to say that everyone needs a diesel. Most don't "need" a diesel. No body really needs power windows, or power seats or even cruise control either. It is just mostly about comfort and ease of use and it is more comfortable and easier to tow with a diesel no matter how much weight you are pulling.
I am in no way trying to persuade anyone to go diesel I was just responding to a post earlier that was not exactly true.
