But my Cummins Rams cost $500 per oil change and that $300 air filter was killer on the wallet.
The oil filter is less than $20 (at least for the 5.9) and mine takes 11 quarts of oil. The entire oil change is less than $75. The air filter is at the dealer about $35. Where are you getting your numbers and could you provide some documentation, receipts, repair orders, or something to verify your extreme claims?
Since 1991 I have owned three Cummins and driven each over 100,000 miles. So far both your claims about the valve lash adjustment costs and the oil changes costs are ridiculous. Where do you get this stuff? Where is your credibility?
Our local Dodge/Ram dealer sends out coupons in the mail almost monthly and one offer is for an oil change in the diesel for $79. And you say it costs $500 for an oil change?
