6.4 seems like a great engine, but a 1T truck running around with a gas engine just seems...wrong to me?!?! Regardless, I gotta believe it will do you fine...but if you cant afford the diesel, then how do you afford the big toy hauler??
I sold a 2013 1500 Hemi and ordered my 2014 1T cummins...I dont NEED it per say but knowing I was going to go with a 12k plus fifth/TH, I wanted the diesel...even though I might only use it 1-2 weekends per summer with 1 big trip (2000-3000 miles) per year...but I wanted it and would never go back to a gas engine. It is a completely different driving experience. Mine is my DD also (SRW 3500)
