Is the diesel going to end up going the way of the dinosaur?

A friend of mine just got back from India, and she said they couldn't go outside in Mumbai because of the horrible pollution, and Delhi wasn't much better. She lost her voice and had to stay completely inside the hotel for a full day to get it back.

You can use those per capita statistics all you want, but when you can't go outside that's real pollution. I'll take being the "pigs of the planet" if it means I can go outside without wearing a mask.
