I agree that your problem is placement of the exit. I'm running a Super 10 and I don't find that too loud. I left the factory resonator in place and it exits out of the stock location. My wife loves the sound and the deep rumble. Even after 13 hours of towing, I'm not tired of hearing it. I'm tired of hearing other things, but not the truck.
