Also used to see small Nissan trucks from the '70's or so that had diesel engines. They were painfully slow, but I understand the engine was quite durable.
We had an 82 Toyota diesel pickup in the family. Pretty much could say the same thing about it.
I know the neighbor had a small Toyota Class C that had dual rear wheels. I'm not sure the year, but I do believe his was a 6 cylinder, though.
