I own one of those ultra rare Toyota diesel pickups. 1984 vintage and it just ticked over 276,000 miles. Even came with AC and it was a 4x4. I put a turbo and intercooler on it about 120,000 miles ago and it's far from underpowered, but body and frame rot have forced me to park it until I put the engine in something else. If I could post pic, I'd show my one-time 7000 lb load of sod. No problem going down the road, but any sort of a panic stop definitely required the use of the trailer brakes.
