Both our Fusion (2016) and the truck have that. And yes it does go off and random times... one time it was only 20 minutes after we started driving. Thankful my Explorer does not have it.
But, that one isn't nearly as annoying as the Fusion's lane departure warning system. We shut it off, but I think there's some kind of settings relating to the key that keep turning it back on. Need to figure out how to permanently turn it off.
But, all that safety stuff helps save money on the car insurance, so that's good I guess.
