Yesterday on the way home from some campin', I witnessed in my rear view mirror the beginnings of your story. Luckily the driver behind me did see the car behind him before it was too late - and get back in. I spend a lot of time in my rear view mirror watching the stock car race coming up fast behind me.
And most of our journeys are safe by only inches. Sad but true.
