Now this guy on the other hand....
First of all your total lack of empathy is almost as appalling as your failure to grasp the obvious. The ONLY thing I could have done to avoid this accident was stay home. The posted speed limit for this stretch of highway is 65 miles per hour, which should be fine for most reasonable people.
Pulling over to let others pass is certainly appropriate when you're lugging a hill or driving well below the posted speed, but to do so every time some leadfoot gets impatient is utterly ridiculous.

I know I'm going to get it for this one, but as someone who's been stuck behind a "speed limit" driver who's being "safe", I feel I have to point out what's obvious. If you are truly not in a hurry, also try pulling over from time to time to let others pass safely.
