O.K., it looks like the point I'm trying to make here is somehow not getting through.
I am an EXCELLENT driver, with a spotless record over 40 years of operating a motor vehicle. I also live by the strategy of being a defensive driver; I've often said I'm not worried about me - it's the other guy who scares me.
What I am trying to communicate here is that it does not matter how you drive, whether you are on your guard or not, sometimes people will make poor choices that will hurt others. It is that simple. End of story. Period.
