we really like the state parks around Whidbey island. if I remember right, from our quick trip out that way...there where no obvious signs letting you know where to turn to find that park. we were happy to have the gps plugged in. we didn't get a chance to see the campsites but did hike part of the pacific northwest trail. we would love to go back and spend more time there. we really like fort casey on the island and fort flagler across from the island.
