It's a camping thing RV park patch collecting

Ok, Sitting here at Knoebels campground in Elysburg,PA and on a couple of campers I see a metal sign hung across the front of the camper that say"It's a camping thing" there is a rod with a piece of fabric with different RV resort patches sown on it. We were putting stickers on our camper, but lost a bunch when upgraded to a new trailer. I like this idea better as it allows us to display where we've been even if we upgrade again in the future. Anyone know where I can find such a sign?

  • I took the walk to find out where they got them. they are custom made from a vendor they found at a flower festival in Delaware. But it gives me an idea.

  • I cut a piece of Lexan to cover the screen on the bottom of the entrance door to prevent my dog from tearing the screen when she needs out. This has turned into a great place to put our stickers for each campground we visit.
  • I just did an Internet search and turned up...NOTHING. I suggest that you walk over and ask those campers where they found the signs and then report back here and let us know!
  • Boy Scouts been collecting patches for ages, might find something looking in that direction.
